You'll need your concert instrument Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons for work on the TMEA etudes. See the schedule linked above and below for more details and your specific schedules. Flutes and euphoniums will follow an adjusted schedule. The temperatures will be more normal for a Texas summer next week and it will be hot! Our outside rehearsals will end at 10:30 am each day so we will be done before it gets too hot but it is still important to stay hydrated! Also, be sure to eat a good breakfast each morning, but be careful not to drink too much milk before rehearsal. It's also important to drink water in the evenings. I'm so excited to see everyone again and to begin work on this season's production! Band camp is a great opportunity for students to renew friendships and make new friends! We'll begin work on our marching basics, drill, the All-State etudes, and the music we'll perform this fall.īe sure you are drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated during the day.
